• The radio station Blonded Los Santos 97.8 FM, mixed by Frank Ocean, is now available in San Andreas.
• Merryweather Security have returned to the USA at some point between 2013 and 2017.
• Ron Jakowski no longer works for Trevor Philips, with Trevor having left Sandy Shores sometime between 2013 and 2017. As such, Trevor Philips Industries is presumably defunct.
• The events of the Gunrunning update for Grand Theft Auto Online take place.
  • Agent 14 contacts the GTA Online Protagonist and introduces them to a business venture in the illegal arms trade and weapons manufacturing. The GTA Online Protagonist expands their business into the gunrunning market.
  • Agent 14 also hires the GTA Online Protagonist to work for him for various MOC missions.
    • Various Merryweather Security air shipments are destroyed.
    • A Half-track is stolen from the Kkangpae.
    • Many FIB agents are killed in a failed assassination attempt at Los Santos International Airport.
    • Some hardware is stolen before it can be salvaged by Merryweather Security.
    • Many Merryweather Security soldiers are killed whilst trying to stop a MOC transport.
    • A rogue Mobile Operations agent is killed.
    • Some Oppressor bikes are stolen from Merryweather Security.
    • Numerous rogue IAA agents are killed.
• The events of the Smuggler's Run update for Grand Theft Auto Online take place.
  • The GTA Online Protagonist is contacted by Ron Jakowski, who introduces the optional business venture of air freighting contraband across San Andreas. The GTA Online Protagonist expands their business into the air cargo market.
• The events of The Doomsday Heist update for Grand Theft Auto Online take place.
  • Lester Crest contacts the GTA Online Protagonist, saying he found opportunities more lucrative than the traditional bank heists.
  • Lester introduces the GTA Online Protagonist to the billionaire Avon Hertz. Avon introduces the two of them to Cliffford and claims that he may have discovered a security risk that could threaten the safety of not only Los Santos, but the American people as a whole.
  • Some data is stolen across Los Santos and given to Cliffford.
  • Many Merryweather mercenaries are killed after a failed raid of an IAA bunker.
  • An Avenger is stolen from Merryweather Security at Los Santos International Airport.
  • Agent ULP is "rescued" from a Russian crime gang.
  • The Russian gang steals some of Avon Hertz's data drives.
  • A convoy carrying weapons for the Russian gang is destroyed.
  • Many members of the Russian crime gang led by Bogdan are killed in their submarine. Avon Hertz and Cliffford betray the GTA Online Protagonist before attempting to have them killed.
  • Cliffford takes control of the entire San Andreas defense system.
  • Avon Hertz takes control of a nuclear base inside Mount Chiliad.
  • Agent 14 is rescued from Merryweather after being kidnapped in an attempt to be sold to the Cliffford mercenaries.
  • Agent ULP is rescued from the Cliffford mercenaries.
  • A Barrage and Khanjali are both stolen from the Cliffford mercenaries.
  • Some SAM turrets located on Mount Chiliad are destroyed by the GTA Online Protagonist and their associates.
  • The GTA Online Protagonist and their associates raid the Mount Chiliad Launch Facility. Many Cliffford mercenaries are wiped out, an attempted nuclear launch is prevented, Cliffford has its mobile data servers annihilated and is turned offline, and Avon Hertz is killed mid-air.
  • The GTA Online Protagonist, their associates, and Lester Crest are all paid by the IAA as a 'thank you' for saving the world.
