Ocelot is a British luxury automotive manufacturer appearing in The Ballad of Gay Tony, Grand Theft Auto V, Grand Theft Auto Online, and due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI.

Description

[edit | edit source]

The company offers a range of luxurious yet sporty automobiles, mainly coupes and sedans, and also operates two racing divisions, one of which is the Ocelot Special Projects Division.

Influence

[edit | edit source]

Ocelot is primarily based on Jaguar, with both names taken from species in the feline family, while significant secondary inspiration appears to come from Lotus, as evidenced by several vehicles in its lineup being derived from Lotus models.

Ocelot Special Projects Division

[edit | edit source]

Ocelot Special Projects Division, or OSPD for short, is the performance division of Ocelot, seemingly modeled after Jaguar's real-world Special Vehicle Operations division. The OSPD name appears on two liveries for the Lynx: "Ocelot Racing" and "Xero Gas", above the doors and near the front grille, respectively. The R88 also features badges for a conceivably related "Ocelot Racing Division" on the engine.
