The People's Republic of China (Simplified Chinese: 中华人民共和国), more commonly known simply as China (中国) is a country located in east Asia. It is the third-largest country in the world and the second most populous. It is bordered by Mongolia to the north, Russia and North Korea to the north-east, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, India, Bhutan and Nepal to the south, Pakistan to the south-west, and Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan to the west.

  • Sinowav FM plays traditional Chinese music.
  • The character on Fabien LaRouche's shirt, "和" is the Chinese character for harmony.
  • In Grand Theft Auto IV, Brucie Kibbutz has tattoos of Chinese characters on his body.
    • They are "我" (Me/I), "人妖" (A derogatory term for a transgender woman or a crossdressing male), "二打六" (Literally "2 vs 6" but refers to an extra or background character), and "愛恨分明" ("Clearly distinguished between love and hate".
  • At the Kortz Center, there is an exhibit called Qing Dynasty Love, which is about the Qing Dynasty, the last dynasty in Chinese history.
