IMO –

Ukraine is reinforcing its maritime safety, security, trade and environmental protection capacity as it continues to operate the Special Maritime Corridor in the Black Sea.
A regional workshop in Batumi, Georgia (9-11 September) is bringing together maritime, port and customs authorities from countries bordering the Black Sea and Caspian Sea to exchange experience and identify practical steps for implementing Maritime Single Windows (MSWs).
Government ministers in Bangladesh have welcomed efforts to establish the country’s first Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facility (TSDF) for hazardous waste, supported by a comprehensive feasibility study led by IMO’s SENSREC Project.
