Waydroid?

I find weird the talk didn't mention running Android apps on PostmarketOS (which from what I looked around seems to be done via Waydroid?).

That's should've been like half the talk, because assuming you got pmOS on your phone up and running, you'll need mobile apps (which are different from Linux-desktop apps). And there's no other mobile market besides Android (technically there's iOS, but it is so closed that even developing iOS apps is complicated, so that market isn't really interesting).

The talk should've mentioned the current status of Android apps, how much of them are working and what are the obstacles; apkmirror and FDroid probably; and of course whether it's complicated to run Google Play to have apps installed from there. And probably, getting apps extracted from existing Android system (because sometimes you do need that. E.g. my Ulefone 27T doesn't allow using usual camera app to access the thermal/IR camera, instead it's done via some 3rd party app, which from my search seems to be out of Ulefone's control).
